Jagiellonian University (Poland)

Jagiellonian University is the oldest higher education institution in Poland and one of the oldest in Europe. Founded in 1364, it comprises 16 faculties, including medical school and public health studies. It combines higher education on 3 levels, including bachelors, masters and high-quality doctoral programs. Broad international cooperation results in a vast offer of English-speaking programmes, students and staff exchanges. Academic research is carried out throughout the University, with social research at the Institute of Sociology and the Institute of Public Health, where partners in the project are based. In VAX-TRUST Jagiellonian University team is the leader of work package 3 and partner in all other work packages.
