University of Cassino and Southern Lazio (UNICLAM) was founded in 1979 and it is among the top three small Italian universities according to the Censis ranking (2018 – 2019). UNICLAM is inspired by general principles of fairness and solidarity in relation to the economic conditions of enrolled students, providing economic benefits for merit and reimbursement of university fees, supporting students through orientation and tutoring activities, up to their job placement, promoting their professional success and self-fulfilment.

UNICLAM produces a consistent research activity in the fields of engineering and health technologies, economic-legal studies, human and social sciences, projects of great innovative potential (winners of numerous Italian and international competitive call for tenders), with nationally and internationally recognized results.

The Department of Human, Social and Health Sciences develops common and fertile grounds for dialogue between disciplines with very different topics and methods, which have allowed the development of educational and research activities in the field of medical and healthcare, psycho-pedagogical, historical, social, linguistic, biological sciences.

In VAX-TRUST, University of Cassino and Southern Lazio is the leader of work package 5 and partner in work packages 1, 6, 7, 8, and 9.
